My parents came to visit us this past week. It was a lot of fun, and nice for my dad to finally get to meet Avery! Here's some pictures that captured what we were able to do.

Papa Elliott read lots of books

We all got to take turns in Papa's rented wheelchair. Dan built a ramp in our garage for Papa to get in and out of the house using the wheelchair. We kept joking that it was our version of a disneyland ride. :) It worked great, but because it was a bit steep, you had to have a good grip on the chair!

Elliott was very helpful. He helped Papa button up his shirt while getting ready to go to dialysis.

Nama got to go help in Donovan's classroom one day, so when they got home, they played a little bit of hockey. We decided this year to not have Dono play floor hockey with his school because they had crazy practice schedules that would have us driving a lot just to play. So we're going to let him play with our community floor hockey team after the new year. Dono was really sad that he wouldn't play with his school friends, but is optimistic for one closer to home.

Papa loved playing Duck Hunt with the boys. (We have the original Nintendo dinosaur!)
Nama took pictures of the boys' getting their hair cut.

I wanted to have the boys look spiffy for their Sunday Primary Program.
Every year the primary children memorize parts to share with the Church congregation the things that they learned throughout the year.

They were very excited that Nama & Papa Elliott happened to schedule their visit the same week as their program.

Handsome Gentlemen

Papa and Avery
For Family Home Evening, we figured that we don't get the chance to celebrate Christmas with family, so we'd put the tree up a little early so that Nama & Papa could be there too.

Grandparents with a beautiful girl!

I think this is the most favorite time of the vacation.
Morning Snuggles!
The kids LOVE to wake up Nama & Papa in the morning and snuggling with them.
What a fun trip. A little colder than usual for the Arizonans, but a nice visit.
