Elliott's Zoo Trip - Nov. 7

Dan likes to take the boys on separate outings to give them "daddy and me" time. Elliott chose to go to the zoo. His favorite place. He LOVES animals, in fact whenever we have our family night and ask if there is any family business, Elliott always has to tell us that he loves animals.

He was excited to go without brothers!

Smiling Moments

7-?-11 We were traveling to somewhere and the boys asked which way we were going. I told them that we were going to turn left. Then from the back seat, Roswell pipes up "Mommy, choose the right! When the choice is before us, choose the right!" I'm glad someone is listening. :)
5-21-11 While watching Daddy race, Elliott says, "Mommy, I know which one Daddy is. He's the one with a peach face." I think they all had peach colored skin that day, but I'm glad he could tell Daddy apart.
5-4-11 Roswell has been saying "no" to everything we say lately, just to be difficult (terrible twos). Usually I just put on a pouty face and look sad and he will smile and say "ok, mommy!" and do what he's supposed to. Today, I did the pouty face when he wouldn't eat his dinner, and instead of telling me he would take a bite he says, "don't be mad, be glad!" and then laughs. It was so funny. Apparently the glad trash bag commercials have been reappearing and the kids have seen it. I guess the pouty faces aren't going to work anymore.
