Water Fun

Today we had our Summer Water Fun Activity Day for primary. 2 hours before start time, our hose decided to break. How can you have water activities with no water? So after some scrambling and running to the store, our problem was remedied. Whew! Thanks Jason and Dan! It was lots of fun and we even had a lot of kids show up, I think the final count was 17. We held it at our house and we had lots of water activities planned. We even had our slide going into the play pool and Elliott's sprinklers hooked up. The only not so great thing was that it was still shady in the backyard at the time appointed and the high was 82. So when it came to the relay where they had to wear a wet t-shirt, a lot of them chickened out because it was too cold. But otherwise it was a success. Here's some pics.Dan and Jason filling water balloons

water balloon volleyball

jumping over the river

sponge relay (filling a cup on the other end)

water balloon toss

squat pop (popping a water balloon with your bum)

And what would a water day be without otter pops?

The day was a success!
