Many don't realize that we have beaches in Michigan too. The Great Lakes, more specifically Lake Michigan have beaches just like the East and West coasts minus the sharks, jellyfish, and scary stuff. We also get sand and sea shells. We decided to head out for the day and have some fun. Little did I know I was very unprepared! I forgot swim shorts, sunblock, and sand toys. I had planned to bring them, but forgot at the last minute. Thank goodness Amy brought double extra clothes! I didn't even think the boys would get in the water from past attempts, I was wrong with that too.
