Ready to Adopt!

My sister Alisa and her husband Jake have just finished all the required paperwork and are now eligible to adopt a baby! They are going through LDS Social Services, but there are many couples already looking for a family. So I thought I'd help her by getting the word out. If you know of any family, friend, or aquaintance that is wanting to give a baby up for adoption, please have them look up Alisa and Jake. You can type up their profile name (JacobandAlisa) --no spaces, on the lds.org website to read more about them:

They have been married for 8 years, 7 of which they have tried unsuccessfully to have a child. A recent surgery has made it impossible for them to ever have biological children. They are a great couple. Jake is a computer network administrator and Alisa is a 2nd grade teacher. They love kids and are really hoping that someone will choose them to adopt.

Please spread the word.

Good Luck! They sound like a wonderful family, I hope they are able to find children to love.

Crystal, I wish your sister great luck. As you know, placing Avery was the most difficult experience that I have ever gone through (Brit more so)but we know that Heavenly Father has a plan and she is living proof of that plan. The right child will come for them to love!

That's good new to hear everything is finished. I remember watching my mom and dad go through that and it's long and hard! I pray for them that they'll find a baby soon.
