We've had a groundhog living under our deck for the past year. He's been a nuisance eating our garden, flowers, (we did like that he ate grass and weeds too though) and other stuff. We are wanting to plant our garden, but were worried about this fella eating it all. Our friends let us borrow this trap. I noticed 2 days ago that Mr/s Hog ran out of our yard through a hole in the fence - or rather under it. I quickly placed the set trap next to the hole and hoped that he would return through the same spot. I almost thought he got the better of me and came in through a different weak spot in the fence, but alas, he did come back. Gotcha!
We don't want to kill it, but now we need to figure out where his drop off spot will be. We don't want him to come back. Ever! Here's hoping for a pest free summer!
